 MAIL BALLOTS MAILED FOR THE 2022 PRIMARY ELECTION

2022 July 14  

Supervisor of Elections Tammy Jones announces that 6,881 Domestic Mail Ballots were sent out today for the August 23rd Primary Election. On July 6th, 88 Mail Ballots were sent to Military and Overseas voters. 

Voters requesting their ballot by mail must place their request by 5:00 p.m. on August 13th. Request can be made by calling the Elections Office at 352-486-5163, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mail Ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections Office no later 7:00 p.m. on August 23rd. The United States Postal Service recommends that voters mail their ballots at least one week before Election Day.  Ballots can be dropped off at the Elections Office during regular business hours, with extended hours on Election Day.  In addition, you may drop off your ballot at one of the following secure ballot intake stations during Early Voting.  Early Voting will be held August 8 through August 20 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Voters can now sign up to receive notifications about their mail ballot's status by visiting votelevy.ballottrax.net.  With BallotTrax, voters receive email or text notifications when their ballot is mailed, when it is received, and when it is counted.
