The last two regionals that have yet to begin play start up on Sunday, including the newly introduced Mountain Region, as more teams will be eliminated as Little League Baseball World Series action continues.

GREAT LAKES

Hamilton (OH) vs. London (KY)

  • Time: 4 p.m. ET
  • Where: Central Region Headquarters (Whitestown, Ind.)
  • Stream: ESPN+

Hamilton had the opening day of the regional off, while Kentucky had a wild one against Hinsdale (IL). London started off strong, scoring five runs in the opening inning. That ended up proving the difference on Saturday, as Illinois was able to cut the lead to one, but Kentucky was able to hang on for a 5-4 win. Marshal Mastin and Kip Allen each had a pair of hits in the win, while Ethan Anderson was credited with the win.

Hinsdale (IL) vs. Grosse Pointe Farms (MI)

  • Time: 7 p.m. ET
  • Where: Central Region Headquarters (Whitestown, Ind.)
  • Stream: ESPN+

In their loss to London (KY), the slow start for Hinsdale ended up hurting them. Despite showing their resilience, Illinois was unable to overcome a five-run deficit, losing their tournament opener by a final score of 5-4. Mikey Menza was at the forefront of the offense for Hinsdale, going 3-3 with an RBI and a run scored on Saturday.

Michigan fell behind against Hagerstown (IN) on Saturday, and it ended up hurting them. They ended up allowing five runs over the first two innings, and were down 6-0 by the fourth inning. Grosse Pointe Farms did get a couple of runs off a Henry Danielewicz single in the fifth, but ultimately fell 6-2.

METRO

Toms River (NJ) vs. Cumberland (RI)

  • Time: 4 p.m. ET
  • Where: A. Bartlett Giamatti Little League Leadership Training Center (Bristol, Conn.)
  • Stream: ESPN+

Toms River was involved in a tight battle in their first game of the regional on Saturday, as they traded runs with Massapequa (NY) until the seventh inning, when New York scored a trio of runs that ended up being the difference, as New Jersey would lose by a score of 6-3. Michael Mendes, Christian Mascaro and Brady Gillen each had two hits for Toms River.

Despite many chances to score, Cumberland was unable to take advantage of their opportunities against Fairfield (CT) on Saturday. Even though they picked up six hits, they ended up leaving five runners on base. Cam Slack scored the team’s lone run in a 3-1 loss, coming up with a home run in the third inning.

MID-ATLANTIC

Holidaysburg (PA) vs. Northwest Washington (DC)

  • Time: 10 a.m. ET

Wilmington (DE) vs. Williamsport (MD)

  • Time: 4 p.m. ET

MIDWEST

Webb City (MO) vs. Fargo (ND)

  • Time: 10 a.m. ET
  • Where: Central Region Headquarters (Whitestown, Ind.)
  • Stream: ESPN+

Some mid-game and late-pitching heroics helps Fargo get started on the right foot this past Friday against Coon Rapids (MN). After falling behind 2-0 early, North Dakota bounced back with a pair of runs in the second inning. Then, in the top of the fourth, Henry Schrum hit a double with the bases loaded, scoring three runs, which ended up being enough in the team’s 5-2 win. Schrum and Cormac Nagle each had a pair of hits, with Nagle also driving in a run. Schrum was also credited with the win on the hill, striking out five while giving up a pair of runs in 4.1 innings.

Webb City was involved in a dramatic game against Sioux Falls (SD) in their tournament opener. The game was tied at one heading into the fifth, where South Dakota scored a trio of runs to take the lead. In the top of the sixth, Missouri was down to their final strike on three separate occasions. However, the reeled of four runs in the frame, and closed it out in the bottom-half of the inning to grab the 5-4 win. Brayton Robinson scored twice for Webb City.

Davenport (IA) vs. Kenosha (WI)

  • Time: 1 p.m. ET
  • Where: Central Region Headquarters (Whitestown, Ind.)
  • Stream: ESPN+

Davenport was in a tight battle with Pittsburg (KS) in their first game of the regional on Friday. The team from Iowa was trailing 3-2 heading into the fifth inning, where Iowa put up a six-spot in the frame, sending the team on their way to a 10-3 victory. Four players for Davenport had at least two hits in the win, with Theodore Swanson driving in four runs on the afternoon.

An outstanding pitching performance from Ben Smet-Cooper helped Kenosha to a big win on Friday. After scoring in the opening inning, Wisconsin held a one-run lead into the fifth, where they ended up scoring eight runs, on their way to a 9-0 win. Tytus Nichter had a pair of triples, driving in two runs for Kenosha. Smet-Cooper threw a no-hitter, striking out 13 batters in the process, giving up just one walk in the six innings.

MOUNTAIN

Henderson (NV) vs. Billings (MT)

  • Time: 12 p.m. ET
  • Where: Al Houghton Stadium (San Bernardino, Calif.)

Santa Clara (UT) vs. Gillette (WY)

  • Time: 3 p.m. ET
  • Where: Al Houghton Stadium (San Bernardino, Calif.)

NEW ENGLAND

Brattleboro (VT) vs. Concord (NH)

  • Time: 4 p.m. ET
  • Where: A. Bartlett Giamatti Little League Leadership Training Center (Bristol, Conn.)

If Vermont wants to stay in the regional, they are going to have to try and get a hit first. Despite drawing five walks against Bangor (ME) on Saturday, Brattleboro was unable to put the bat on the ball to get any offense going, getting no-hit in a 3-0 loss.

Concord failed to get any consistent offense going against Middleborough (MA) on Saturday. The team from New Hampshire amassed just two hits, but allowed just one run themselves in a 1-0 defeat. Henry Thresher had an outstanding start for Concord, striking out 13 batters in 5.1 innings of shutout ball.

SOUTHEAST

South Riding (VA) vs. Durham (NC)

  • Time: 11 a.m. ET
  • Where: Little League Southeast Park (Warner Robins, Ga.)
  • Stream: ESPN+

In a game that saw just about everything, an extended weather delay, some clutch hitting and other great plays, Durham and Taylors (SC) battled it out in an over six-hour classic. The game was tied at one after six innings, North Carolina had to wait a few hours to tie the game in the bottom of the eighth. Each team scored two runs in the ninth, thanks to a couple of wild pitches by South Carolina. Then, in the bottom of the 10th, Dalton Parker got a base hit that drove in Sully Sebastian to Durham their second consecutive walk-off victory. Sebastian and Everett Harmsen each scored twice in the win.

Virginia’s team had a necessary offensive performance to avoid elimination when they met Keystone (FL) on Saturday. After falling behind early, South Riding scored a trio of runs in the second inning, before adding some insurance with four in the fifth, to advance in the regional with a 7-1 win. Colby Harris, Evan Aguirre and Andrew Coleman each had two hits, with Ryan Bahr driving in three runs in the win.

Nolensville (TN) vs. Harris County (GA)

Winner of this matchup gets the first bid into the regional championship game on Tuesday.

Following a dominant 11-0 win over Alabama on Thursday, Nolensville needed some late-game heroics against Taylors (SC) on Friday. The game was scoreless through five innings, until a Trent McNiel single led to three runs, which proved to be enough in a 3-0 victory. McNiel and Wright Martin each had two hits in the game, while McNiel also struck out five in 4.2 innings of work on the mound.

Georgia was involved in a much different game on Friday compared to their 12-0 win on Thursday. When taking on South Riding (VA) on Friday. Harris County need just two runs on their way to their second win in the regional tournament. Evan Woosley was the only one credited with an RBI in the win, and ended up earning the win on the hill, striking out seven in five innings of work.

SOUTHWEST

Pearland (TX-East) vs. Abilene (TX-West)

The winner of this Lone Star State battle will be the first team to punch their ticket to the championship game on Tuesday.

Each team has started off 2-0, with Texas East scoring 20 runs in their two contests, beating Arkansas and Mississippi on their way to Sunday. Jacob Zurek has been one of the team’s most effective hitters, going 3-7 with a couple of runs scored.

Abilene has had to win a couple of close games, beating both Louisiana and Oklahoma in extra innings. Easton Tuley ended up knocking in the winning run against Tulsa on Friday, marking his second hit, and second RBI of the tournament.

NORTHWEST

Bend (OR) vs. Anchorage (AK)

  • Time: 10 p.m. ET
  • Where: Al Houghton Stadium (San Bernardino, Calif.)
  • Stream: ESPN+

Bend was in a tight battle with Bonney Lake (WA) in their tournament opener on Saturday. After Kyker Hartlaub drove in Evan Guadalupe for Oregon’s team to the tie the game at one, Washington ended up scoring nine runs over the final two innings, beating Bend by a score of 10-1.

Alaska fell behind early against Lewiston (ID), unfortunately they were unable to rally back. Landon Gasser drove in the lone run for Anchorage in the third inning, but that is all they could put together on Saturday, ultimately losing 3-1.

WEST

Peoria (AZ) vs. Glendora (S-CA)

  • Time: 7 p.m. ET
  • Where: Al Houghton Stadium (San Bernardino, Calif.)
  • Stream: ESPN+

Arizona’s offense did not not quite start on time in their regional opener on Saturday. In taking on Rocklin (N-CA), Peoria only registered three hits, and were unable to solve the Northern California pitching on their way to a 5-0 defeat.

Glendora also ended up on the wrong side of a clean sheet in the opening day of action in the regional. The team from Southern California mustered a single base hit in the contest, and were victim to some clutch hitting by Honolulu, falling by a final score of 3-0.
