CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NEW JERSEY: On September 19, Dale R Devilli, a 63-year-old worker was discovered dead in a kettle cooker at a New Jersey food processing facility, according to authorities. He worked as a millwright for Lassonde Pappas, one of the largest fruit and vegetable juice manufacturers in the US.

At around 8 am on Monday, September 19, Devilli's body was found within the machine at the Lassonde Pappas facility in Cumberland County. Following allegations of a work mishap, authorities were sent to the company, where they discovered the ominous finding. Although Devilli's death was not being investigated as suspicious, authorities did say that they were still looking into it. “Early Monday morning, an accident that caused a fatal injury to one of our employees occurred at our facility,” a spokesman for Lassonde Pappas told New Jersey 101.5. The exact details of the accident that led to Devilli's demise are yet to be given clarity. Devilli’s loved ones are mourning the death of a diligent and hard-working man who took pride in his work. “We are devastated by the loss of our friend and colleague and our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time,” the plant spokesman continued.

An inspection record maintained by the federal government reveals that the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration is also looking into Devilli's death. According to an online obituary, Devilli had been employed as a millwright at the Canadian business Lassonde Pappas, which makes fruit and vegetable juices. “He will be remembered for his years of expertise and vigorous work ethic. He hardly ever missed a day of work and took pride in his job,” the obituary said about him.

Devilli, of Lauren Township, left behind a 28-year-old loving wife and two daughters. “Dale was an avid outdoorsman, and handyman. Out of his countless hobbies, he perfected bow hunting, fishing, and gardening; the latter would grow a vast variety of fruits and vegetables every summer. As an animal and nature lover, Dale enjoyed walking through the various trails around his property with his dogs and family. He was the picture-perfect husband and father who valued family above all else. Although Dale had many joys in life, none could compete with the love he had for his wife and two girls. He worked endlessly to give his daughters a blessed life, sending them to elite schools and constantly supporting them in all of their endeavors. Dale was considered the rock in the family. He was their protector, their leader, and their home. He adored his wife, Allison, to whom he was married for 28 years. Their wedding took place in Disney World, which would later become a regular travel destination for their family and be a reminder of that magical day in 1994,” the obituary described Devilli.
