We recently caught up with PTV-4 news anchor and Miss Philippines Earth -Air 2014 Dianne Querrer to ask her opinion about the inclusion of married women and mothers in beauty pageants.

The winsome Dianne, who is also a Certified Public Accountant, said she has nothing against this decision if it promotes inclusivity and empowerment. "If the women are going to use the platform as their voice, then go for it."

The former beauty queen has been tapped to endorse Lovely Brows, a salon that offers specialized brow services in Quezon City. She noted that women like her really have to make an effort to look good these days, a trend that started during the pandemic when Zoom meetings became the norm.

"I believe in the saying kilay is life. These days, there's so much competition when you're looking for a job or aiming for a promotion. It really helps to be presentable to get noticed. Our eyebrows are easily one part of the face we can enhance," she stated.

"But it's important that we only go to people we can trust," Dianne added. "Our eyebrows are the first thing that's visible when we are talking to people or meeting them, so we need to be careful the procedure doesn't turn out to be a disaster. The owner of Lovely Brows, Lovely Asistio, is trained abroad and knows the best practices in the industry."

Lovely Brows offers the latest in brow treatments such as microblading, powder combo blading and ombre brows, at prices that won't break the bank. They also offer semi-permanent lip color, lash extensions and lash perming.

Ms. Asistio said the brow services are painless. A brow enhancement can last from one to three years depending on the lifestyle and skin type of the client.

Asistio's sister, Nica Jane Magdaong, is a co-partner in the brow venture. Nica is one of the top Facebook live streamers for Mobile Legends and became viral in social media with her "kaldag" dance.
