EDPR's renewable power output falls 3% y/y in Q1 2024
Apr 19, 2024 10:56 CESTPortuguese energy company Galp Energia SGPS SA (ELI:GALP) announced on Friday that its current CEO Andy Brown will end his mandate on December 31, 2022.
Brown has informed the company's board of directors about his decision, having successfully completed the mission he committed to, the announcement says. Galp said it will divulge the name of its new head before the end of the year.
Previously a member of Royal Dutch Shell (AMS:RDSA), Brown has been in charge of Galp since February 2021.
According to the firm's website, Galp ended 2021 with some 4.7 GWp of renewable energy capacity, mostly solar, under operation, construction or in development and spread between Portugal, Spain and Brazil.
