Two Maine duos just returned from incredible trips thanks to their wins in the “I’m With the Band” second-chance promotion from the Maine Lottery.
Michelle and Breanna Colson, a mother and daughter from Cushing, won an all-expenses paid trip to Sugarland, Texas, to spend the day with country music star Lee Brice and his band and go to two shows. Brice has had eight hits that reached number one on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.
The Colsons spent time with the performer and watched everything that led up to the concerts from behind the scenes. “We can’t even express how kind they were,” said Breanna. “Meeting Lee was awesome.”
The Colsons happened to be booked on an Honor Flight transporting veterans and said they felt honored to be flying with the veterans.
Veda and Carl Ferris, a husband and wife from Woolwich, also won the “I’m with the Band” second chance promotion. They started with a day in Nashville before getting on the concert bus and going to the concert in Louisiana. They spent time with Brice and the band and had the chance to watch all of the action before and after the concert. They then rode the bus to Texas to watch the next concert and spend more time with Brice and his band.
They called it “the trip of a lifetime.”
Each winning pair got free air and ground transportation, three meals per day, $500 in spending money, VIP concert tickets and the meet-and-greet sessions with the performers,
