Tokyo Disney drives traffic surge at nearby hotels

Occupancy near full thanks to increased park entries and travel incentives

CHIBA, Japan -- Hotels near Tokyo Disney Resort report being their busiest since the coronavirus pandemic began as foreign and domestic tourists return to the travel destination.

Milial Resort Hotels, which operates the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and the Hotel MiraCostalocated inside Tokyo DisneySea, said its hotels were almost fully booked for dates around Christmas and the New Year.
