'This hack will blow your mind,' the cleaner said when she uploaded the controversial video.

She puts a small bucket inside her Vileda spin mop bucket, she then fills it with floor cleaner and boiling water.

She dips her mop into the smaller bucket and rinses it in the wringer, the excess water goes into the larger bucket.

This way the dirty and clean water are separated and she only ever dips the mop into clean water.

The hack turned out to be divisive online.

Some of Tanya's followers loved the trick.

'I have to say, mind blowing reels never live up to the hype but this might actually change my life, I am a mopping fanatic,' one woman enthused.

'This way you only clean with clean water,' another commented.

However others deemed the hack 'pointless' contending the mop is dirty after it's used on the floor.

'Ummmmm the dirty mop still goes in the clean water,' one woman commented.

Tanya's controversial mopping method:

1. Put a small bucket into a Vileda spin mop bucket, then fill it with floor cleaner and boiling water

2. Dip the mop straight into the smaller bucket and rinse it in the mop wringer

3. The dirty and clean water are now separated and you only ever dip the mop into clean water

'Once you put the mop back in the bucket after washing the first part of the floor you have dirty water? So pointless hack really,' another said.

'Unless you wash that mop before dipping in the cleaning solution, you are dipping a dirty mop in clean solution,' another agreed.

She began by pouring Fairy antibacterial dishwashing liquid into ice cube trays and left the detergent to freeze for a few hours.

Tanya cleaned the oven racks over a sink filled with soapy water while wearing rubber gloves.

After constantly swiping the steel, the frozen cubes seemed to turn into a 'mushy' jelly-like consistency and the racks were left sparkling clean.

She also added two frozen detergent cubes into the barrel of the washing machine to lift the stains from her white laundry.
