Apple Music Replay reminds you which songs you binged the most in 2022

This time you get a "Highlight Reel."

Apple Music Replay is back, and this time it's designed to be viewed on your phone.

Once again, it's an overview of artists, albums, and songs you've listened to the most in 2022. In fact, the Apple Music Replay 2022 experience has been live since February, featuring a top list of your favorite tracks, but now it's been overhauled with a feature called Highlight Reel. It's a set of cards featuring some information about your Music habits, including the total minutes spent listening to music, as well as your favorite genres, and most listened artist, album, and song.

The Highlight Reel, which is accessible at replay.music.apple.com, can be viewed on desktop, but it appears to be designed with your mobile phone in mind. In fact, viewing it on my desktop I was left slightly disappointed: seven very bland animated cards, and it's all over in less than a minute.

You can get a more complete experience if you scroll down on the main screen (both on your desktop and phone). There, you'll see your top 10 most played songs, artists, albums, playlists, and stations. At the bottom, you'll see a special "Replay Mix" which is an Apple Music playlist of your favorite songs from 2022.

Apple Music Replay 2022 comes ahead of Spotify Wrapped for 2022, which is a similar overview of the music you loved in the year behind us. Currently, you can only access Spotify Wrapped for 2021, and Spotify says it will notify users when the new Wrapped hub is ready.
