Holiday Gift Guide 2022: Some Cool Ideas For That Special Cannabis Fan

Following

“’Tis the season of ‘High holidays!’” cannabis lovers might well exclaim this time of year. But, since that term is reserved for two solemn holidays in the Jewish faith, let’s just stick to “Happy Holidaze!” or some such appropriate expression this Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanza season.

And, in that spirit, it’s time to search for just the right gift for that person in your life who joyfully indulges in cannabis and CBD/CBG products. After all, they’re now socially acceptable, to say nothing of commercially ubiquitous. Many are also available with special holiday prices.

So, forget the CDs, books and gift certificates you’ve gotten your boss in the past. Shelve the earrings and sweaters for Sis. Ditch those cutesy socks and ugly Christmas sweaters for your BFF. Instead, consider the really fun stuff — like the gift ideas described below: (Check product websites to see if they’re available in your state.)

Seasonal-Stress Self-care Box: Earth’s Dew is offering its attractively packaged, limited edition Holiday Gift Box ($100). Whether your giftee needs assistance releasing the cares of this world to unwind (or you need the same for yourself), this CBD Self-Care Kit may help. Included are vegan Delta 8 THC gummies, CBD gummies, a Delta 8 THC Vape Cart, CBD tea and a CBD Bath Salt Set.

Cannabis Holiday Cards: Yep, they’re a real thing. KushKards ($5.99) not only offer the standard holiday greeting but also a slot to insert a pre-roll. The holiday product line includes names like Polka Pot Gift Boxes, Kush Charms and Stoner Stocking. The company’s aim is to break into retail locations that don’t typically service the 4/20-friendly crowd; and already, the product’s promotional text says, the cards can be found in over 4,000 retail outlets. Look for lots of stocking-stuffer ideas on the website as well.

Vegan Chews for a Guilt-Free High: The Botanist Caramel Apple Fruit Chew ($20) offers the yum! taste of those childhood-era caramel apples we all remember, only with no added butter and a potent 22 mg. of THC.

All Things Must Grass: Dad Grass products provide a mild buzz, not an actual high, due to their inclusion of low enough THC to be federally legal and able to be shipped anywhere in the country. For the company’s All Things Must Grass gift idea ($42), your baby boomer giftee will surely remember George Harrison’s first solo, iconic album, on which this package is based (with the Harrison estate’s blessing).

Smoke on the Go: Blakk Smoke’s Healthy Hookah Pen ($23.99) is portable — small enough to put in your pocket or purse enroute to your favorite club. There’s no nicotine involved, just cannabis in a range of flavors like blueberry, strawberry lemonade and peach mango.

Holiday High-tech Smoking Device: The Hitoki Saber ($299.99) joins the brand’s flagship combustion device The Trident in the smoking-device category. The Saber, ($107), used with a bubbler (which Hitoki conveniently also offers) attaches to any glass rig, turning it into a laser device which, the company claims, “delivers the best tasting smoking experience you have ever had.” The Saber’s design offers the same one-button function with the same LED feedback seen as The Trident, with three power levels indicated by color: Low (red) is for dry blends, medium (green) for denser blends and high (blue) blends for infused oils.

Cannabis Art (Deck the Walls): Goldleaf offers botanical cannabis and coffee print art and journals; included in its collection are journals for cooking and patients’ writings, and for tasters and growers, with artwork typically priced $30 to $40, including a special holiday discount.

Chocolate Peppermint Edible: The brand Chill uses organic peppermint oil to provide its Chill Peppermint Milk Chocolate bar — available from Caliva —with what it calls “a cool refreshing experience.” This experience of course originates from a chocolate bar that is also an edible ($13).
