This effort aims to achieving growth and development in a comprehensive and sustainable manner, and in line with Economic Modernization Vision (EMV), he pointed out.

Jitan said JCI made "outstanding" achievements during the past 4 years, represented in establishing a new policy based on openness and partnership with the government sector.

In this regard, he noted this JCI approach seeks to reduce production costs, apply principle of reciprocity within the local market, and enhance access of industry products to global and regional markets by taking part in related global exhibitions.

Stressing importance of starting EMV's implementation at the beginning of next year, he said the initiative reflects private sector's views on key challenges and obstacles that impede development and growth of Jordan's various economic activities.

The vision's "effective" implementation would accelerate Jordan's economic growth, improve citizens' life quality and realize sustainability by achieving development goals, he said.

He also stressed importance of the integrated implementation of the outcomes of National Industry Support Fund, which would enhance the industrial sector's competitiveness at the local and global levels, raise its contribution to the economy, diversify sources of national revenues, create job opportunities, alleviate poverty and unemployment in the Kingdom and increase exports.
