The Blitzboks are through the final of the Sydney Sevens after an emphatic 31-12 win over Fiji in their semi-final clash on Sunday morning.

The Blitzboks outscored Fiji by five tries to two, with Shilton van Wyk and Jaiden Baron each scoring twice, while Dalvon Blood also crossed the whitewash.

Ricardo Duarttee and Shaun Willams (2) added conversions.

South Africa were unstoppable in the first half and ran up a 17-0 half-time lead that didn't allow Fiji to recover. However, the South Sea islanders did score two second-half tries through Iowane Teba and Viwa Naduvalo, with Naduvalo adding a conversion.

The Blitzboks now face series leaders New Zealand in the final after beating them 17-14 in a Pool B encounter on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 11:26 (SA time).
