Fears for missing Sydney real estate agent who hasn’t been seen in more than a week

Lauren FerriNCA NewsWire

Police searching for a real estate agent who has been missing for more than a week have received a tip-off about her whereabouts.

Leesa Forrest, 28, was last contacted about 12.30pm on February 1 and was last seen at her workplace at Ray White Narrabeen on Sydney’s northern beaches.

Since then her Facebook page has been disabled, her phone has been off and she has not been in touch with any friends or family.

Officers from Northern Beaches PAC have launched an investigation, saying Ms Forrest’s disappearance is “out of character”.

“She is believed to be driving a white Holden Cruze with NSW plates BJ-58-QQ, and is known to frequent Newport and Narrabeen,” NSW Police said in a statement.

The 28-year-old’s sister Lauren Forrest took to Facebook earlier this week to issue a desperate plea for help.

“If anyone has seen, spoken to, walked past, driven past Leesa, anything … can you please contact me,” Lauren wrote.

“Phone off. Hasn’t been home. Hasn’t been to work.”

While she has no Facebook profile, Ms Forrest’s Instagram page remains up.

Ms Forrest’s landlord said she has not returned home in more than a week.

Her boss at Ray White Narrabeen Michael Ferguson told NCA Newswire he and Ms Forrest’s colleagues were “obviously really concerned” for her welfare.

Mr Ferguson described the real estate agent as a “lovely” woman.

Her profile on Ray White says Ms Forrest has helped “many clients” during the sales process of residential and strata homes throughout the Northern Beaches.

“She understands that purchasing and selling a home is one of the most important decision someone can make,” her profile reads.

“Born and raised in Narrabeen, Leesa is a specialist of her local area, and extremely knowledgeable of the peninsulas market.”

One review praised Ms Forrest’s professionalism and said they “couldn’t thank her enough”.

Another review said: “Leesa was amazing. She arranged everything we needed to be done to the property prior to listing, kept us informed throughout and helped secure a great price.”

One woman said Ms Forrest was a “pleasure” to work with and was always “genuine” and “friendly”.

Anyone with information into Ms Forrest’s whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
