2 winning lottery tickets sold in Tucson

Two winning tickets were bought in Tucson for Tuesday's Fantasy 5 and Mega Millions drawings.

Fantasy 5 winner nabs $51,001 jackpot

A Fantasy 5 player won a $51,001 jackpot, officials said on Wednesday.

The winning ticket was purchased at a Fry's store, at 4036 N. First Ave. The winning numbers were 1, 14, 25, 33 and 35.

The next drawing, which is held nightly Monday through Sunday, will be Thursday, March 16. Fantasy 5 players will have a chance to win up to $51,000. Tuesday's winning numbers were 6, 8, 12, 15, 31.

$30,000 Mega Millions jackpot won Tuesday

A Mega Millions player instead won a $10,000 jackpot, but added the Megaplier making the prize $30,000, Arizona Lottery officials said.

The winning ticket was sold at a Quicktrip at 5565 W. Cortaro Farms Road. The winning numbers were 1, 7, 23, 38, 55 and 2.

The next drawing will be Friday, March 17. Mega Million players will have a chance to win up to $254 million.
