Tom Brady has acquired an ownership interest in the WNBA team Las Vegas Aces, joining Mark Davis in the ownership of the team.

Davis announced that Brady has earned an ownership interest in the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces, with the recently retired NFL star saying in a statement that he is very excited to be part of the organization, according to NFL.

He added that his love for women's sports started at a young age when he would join his older sisters' games, describing them as by far "the best athletes in our house."

Brady also expressed his admiration for the team's players and staff, including the work they do.

He also admired the continued efforts of the WNBA to grow the sport while also empowering future generations of athletes.

Davis said that Brady's procurement of ownership interest is not only a win for the Aces but also for the WNBA and women's professional sports.

Tom Brady Ownership Interest

Mark Davis also owns the Las Vegas Raiders. It was speculated that the Raiders would pursue Tom Brady if he decided to play this season.

Silver and Black Pride noted that Brady and Davis were seen together at MMA fights and an Aces game last spring.

Davis was eyeing Brady when he was a free agent in 2020 and now intends to work with him.

Aces' star Kelsey Plum was also reported to have established a friendship with Brady.

The Aces recently clinched a WNBA title, with the team adding two-time MVP Candace Parker to the group.

Members of the team are Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, and league MVP A'ja Wilson, according to Sporting News.

In February, the WNBA team was under investigation for salary cap violations.

NBC Sports reported that a high-level employee of the Aces allegedly instructed agents for certain players that the agent would receive another call offering a certain amount of money from another company, which would be for a job that entailed "negligible" work.

There could be reported tax implications or other possible consequences that will catch the eye of prosecutors.

Tom Brady Retirement

Brady noted that he was going to focus on his children now that his professional sports career has come to a halt.

Brady said in a Fox News report that there is nothing he loves more than football, but that he has young children and "they watched enough of their dad's games."

The NFL star added that it is time for him to watch his children's games.

Brady has three children. He shared one child with actress Bridget Moynahan: 15-year-old Jack. He also shares two children with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen: 10-year-old Vivian and 13-year-old Benjamin.

Brady announced his retirement in February, but it was not the first time. In February 2022, he announced his first retirement, but later on, he decided to rejoin the league by signing a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
