A responsibility to fill up the 100,000-seater Dallas Cowboys’ stadium might befall UFC star Conor McGregor upon his comeback fight. The Irish fighter, who is currently on a hiatus, last fought in May 2021 against Dustin Poirier. While he tendered to his other duties outside the Octagon, the possibility of his comeback fight diminished until he returned to coach the next generation of fighters in the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. The announcement of S31 of TUF also showered relief to the fans who might witness ‘Mystic Mac’ grace the Octagon later this year. As the exact details of his thrilling fight against Michael Chandler are being ironed out, UFC president Dana White listed the likely locations for Dublin-born’s return.

Notably, the 53-year-old spoke to the Sports Business Journal about the recently concluded S1 of The Power Slap. Toward the end of the conversation, when asked about the looming question of the former UFC champion’s return, he remained hopeful of the same. Further, the UFC lynchpin set the timeline to the present year.
