The Kapil Sharma Show: Tabu reveals how Ajay Devgn made her do all the action sequence in the film; says “the assistant told me that Ajay wants me to do the action in the film”

In the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, host Kapil Sharma welcomed Bollywood superstars Ajay Devgn and Tabu on the show for the promotion of their upcoming movie. Kapil further talks about their movie and compliments them for their trailer.
Kapil asks Ajay about RRR winning the Oscars and questions if he ever thought being in a film that would win Oscars for India.Ajay jokingly says, “RRR ko mere wajeh se Oscars mili hai.. socho agar Mene usspe dance kardia hota toh kya hota…” Kapil further asked, “Did you not feel like dancing in a closed room after knowing about the win.”
Ajay said, “Even then they would have taken away the Oscars from us.” Kapil moves towards Tabu and asks her about always portraying the roles of a police officer in her recent movies. He says, “Do you know because of you people have become more friendly with police officers? Seriously Das dada stayed in the police station for 2 days.” Tabu laughs and says, “Ok then I will stop portraying myself as a police officer from now onwards in movies.”
Kapil also compliments Tabu for playing a ghost in her recent film and also adds that she looked so glamorous even in that character, but he further adds “But those who want to see you do romance when will that happen?” Tabu agrees and says that even though she wants to do a romantic film but doesn’t know when will it happen.
Kapil shifts back to Ajay and asks how is he doing and Ajay jokingly asks “Aaj nahake aaya hain, nahi nahi complement de raha hoon acha dikh raha hain”. And everyone in the audience along with Kapil laughs out loud.
Kapil asks Tabu that “As Ajay sir is the director himself so on sets would he say action and cut or was there a separate person on the sets?” Ajay added “Actually there was a guy kept for it because I would direct as well as act in the sequence. I would only say cut in the end that also I would just so I act it out with my hands.”
Tabu reveals “He doesn’t talk on the sets as an actor he would sometimes joke around or speak on the sets but in this film other than dialogues he did not speak at all on sets. But at least you need to talk with the actors and tell your co-actor that you have to sit here and do this… nothing.” Ajay and Tabu disagree about it in a funny way.
Tabu further adds how she was thankful that as a director Ajay thought of giving the policeman role to her. She adds “Originally the role of a police officer was of a male in the film but I am grateful that he thought of me for this role. I did a lot of action sequences in the film. The first day when I started with the action sequence Ajay told me I don’t have to do anything and he would only take my close-ups and rest the body double would do it. After hearing this I was thankful and went in my van and so relaxed. And later the assistant comes with a harness and cable in my van and tells me that the boss has asked me to wear this and come on the set. I was like why? The assistant revealed that Ajay has decided that I would do all the action sequences on my own. I got very nervous and scared and was trying to give excuses. I would say my pant is loose, change my shirt and put the harness properly but nothing happened and had to give the shot.”
Kapil further welcomes the third actor from the film Deepak Dobriyal and compliments the actor for his look. Kapil asks Deepak on playing a villainous character instead doing a comic character in the film. Deepak stated “No I had to do it and every actor wants to try different shades. And for a year I stopped greeting or saying sorry to everyone. If someone would ask me ‘Aur Deepak Kaise Hain?’ I would just make a stern face and tilt my head to the left. From this I became villainous and people thought I was crazy or have an attitude.”
Kapil shows a video of Ajay troubling everyone on the sets while filming. Everyone laughs seeing the video and Kapil asked if he ever got into a serious fight because of his pranks. Ajay says “Sometimes had a small argument but not a serious fight.”
Later, Kapil shows some posts from Ajay, Tabu and Deepak’s Instagram accounts and begins with his Post Ka Postmortem. Everyone loves seeing their posts and also reading funny comments.


In the end, the Bhangda Queens come on the stage and perform on the stage.
