Jennifer Aniston, 54, says she would not get her hair cut for an acting role again after hating Rachel's iconic look in Friends.

Appearing on Drew Barrymore's talk show, the 54-year-old discussed whether she would be prepared to have her hair shorter.

Rachel found fame on Friends during the 90s, with her haircut during the first three seasons becoming known as 'The Rachel'.

But while it was popular with viewers, Rachel herself was not a fan.

She cut her hair short again in 2001 during her marriage to Brad Pitt.

“I actually just cut all my hair off two days ago,” Aniston revealed at the time.

“It wasn't for a role. My hair went through a phase - I did this thing called a Brazilian and my hair did not react really well to it.”

It was reported that her hair stylist Chris McMillan did the cut.

“Chris just chopped it all off, so now it's just sort of there. It's short! It's at my jawline and a little shorter in the back. It's just choppy, like a choppy bob, I guess you could say,” she said.

Chris is the same man that gave her The Rachel, which she said she hated because it was not her “best look”.

“I think it was the ugliest haircut I've ever seen,” she told Allure.

Aniston revisited the subject with Barrymore.

Appearing alongside Adam Sandler, the trio discussed the possibility of remaking 70s sitcom Three's Company.

Discussing which of Aniston and Barrymore would play Joyce DeWitt's short-haired character Janet, Aniston said she would rather play Chrissy.

Jennifer asked Drew, “You could do the short hair?”

Drew responded: “I love Janet. She's a real no-nonsense gal…I'm much more Janet you're much more Chrissy.”

Aniston and Barrymore have co-starred alongside Sandler in three movies each.

Former child star Barrymore said: “We did come up with a little bit of an idea the other day about what a trio movie could be.”

Jennifer responded “Oh, Three's Company” to which Adam said, “Oh that would be fun man.”
