This lead singer of iconic 1970s rock band looks unrecognizable in a new selfie with his daughter - but can YOU guess who this rockstar is?

This lead singer of an iconic 1970s rock band looks unrecognizable in a new snap shared to his Twitter on Tuesday.

The 71-year-old musician rose to fame in the mid-1970s. His band shocked the audiences with their wild live performances featuring smoking guitars, fire-breathing, and blood-spitting.

However in the new photo, the rocker - whose group is also famous for their face paint and wild stage costumes - looked nearly unrecognizable in a sweet selfie with his daughter.

The New York-born Hall of Famer was pictured with his brunette tresses framing his face, and wore a pink cheetah print top in the photo, which was taken on holiday.

Can you guess who this rock legend is?

That's right, it's KISS frontman Paul Stanley - also known as his KISS persona The Starchild - and his 11-year-old daughter Emily Grace Stanley.

'Family vacation! My beautiful Emily brightens the day even more!' Stanley captioned the adorable snap of the father and daughter duo.

The rocker accessorized his outfit with a beaded black and white bracelet.

Fans were quick to point out the resemblance of the duo, with one writing, 'She looks so much like you.'

'She looks just like her dad!' another one added. Yet another commentator chimed in adding, 'Wow does she ever look like you!!! Paul she is the smitten image of you completely.'

Emily – who will be turning 12 in August – is the youngest of Stanley's four kids. He shares her as well as daughter Sarah Brianna Stanley, 14, and son Colin Michael Stanley, 16, with current wife Erin Sutton, whom he wed in 2005.

He also shares son Evan, 28, with ex-wife Pamela Bowen, whom he was married to from 1992 until 2001.

Stanley co-founded KISS - regarded as one of the most influential rock bands of all time - in 1973 and has written and co-written many of the band’s greatest hits, including I Was Made For Lovin’ You, Rock and Roll All Nite, Shandi, and Shout It Out Loud.

Stanley toured Australia with his KISS bandmates Gene Simmons, 73, Eric Singer, 64, and Tommy Thayer, 62, for what they said was the 'final time' last year.

Original guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss have not played in the group since the early 2000s.

The 'End Of The Road' tour, which began in January 2019, was said to be the biggest and best KISS show ever, and picked up incredible reviews.

At the time Paul said that the 'End of the Road World Tour' is a victory lap of celebration dedicated to Kiss fans around the globe during an interview on the Today show.

'I think if you get the sense from what we're doing here, everybody's jovial,' Stanley said.

'This isn't morbid or morose. We're going on our victory lap. We're going round the world and really showing the people why they've loved us for so long.'

KISS are one of the best-selling bands of all time, having sold more than 100 million records worldwide, including 21 million RIAA-certified albums.

They have also recorded 14 Platinum albums, three of which earned multi-Platinum status, and in 2014 they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
