STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A jackpot prize-winning ticket worth more than $9,000 was sold on Staten Island on Monday.
The New York Lottery announced that a top-prize winning ticket for the March 27 TAKE 5 midday drawing — worth $9,300.50 — was sold on Staten Island. It was purchased at Ideal Fresh, located at 1006 Rossville Ave., in Rossville.
Another top-prize ticket was sold at a BP Gas Station located at 440 Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
According to New York Lottery officials, the jackpot prize is divided equally if there are multiple jackpot winners.
The winning numbers of the midday TAKE 5 jackpot were 13, 14, 16, 18 and 22.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. To win the TAKE 5 jackpot, match the five numbers on your ticket to the winning five-number combination drawn. It costs $1 to play per game.
The drawing is broadcast on television twice daily at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. TAKE 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening drawing.
The odds of winning the TAKE 5 jackpot is 1 in 575,757.
A Lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.68 billion in the fiscal year 2021-22 to help support education in New York State.
