Popular actress Charu Asopa is well-known in the television industry and has starred in many successful episodes throughout the years. The actress has established a name for herself in the field and has played a number of distinctive roles. Regarding her private life, Charu is wed to actor Rajeev Sen, the brother of Sushmita Sen. The couple's marriage hit its lowest point when they filed for divorce last year. Their ultimate divorce court is reportedly slated for June, according to recent sources.
Sister-in-law of Sushmita Sen According to Charu Asopa, the former Miss World called the doctors before telling her family that she was having a heart attack. Sushmita underwent angioplasty and stent implant after suffering a heart attack in March of this year while filming the third episode of her upcoming web series Aarya. Rajeev Sen, the brother of Sushmita, is Charu's husband, however the two are no longer together. She claimed that her daughter Ziana Sen appeared to possess aunt Sushmita's strength.
When Sushmita reported the heart attack in an Instagram post, her followers were in disbelief. She posted a photo of herself and her father and commented, “Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona” (Wise words by my father @sensubir). I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’. Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action…will do so in another post! Talking about Sushmita's heart attack, Charu told “Iske baare mein family mein kisi ko nahi pata tha because I think didi ne kisi ko bataya nahi tha. because.So when it happened, she was in Jaipur and before she could tell anyone, she herself called the doctors. When I got to know this, I called my mother-in-law and asked her about it and she told me that now she (Sushmita) is fine. No one expected it and everyone was shocked.”
Rajeev and Charu get along well, and they share parental responsibilities for their daughter. Additionally, the actress and Sushmita Sen continue to get along well. Regarding her sister-in-law, Charu explained “She is a fighter and our entire family is so proud of her. Be it any problem, she fights it out. She is an amazing human being and sometimes I can talk to her and sometimes I can’t but she is always close to my heart. Every time I meet her and she hugs me, it’s a warm hug and it feels so good that I can’t even tell you.” She also shared that her daughter, Ziana shares many qualities of Sushmita Sen, "itni strong mujhe wo lagti hai, mujhe Ziana bhi utni hi strong lagti hai."
Sushmita has a web series called Taali in addition to Aarya 3. She will be recognized as transgender Shreegauri Sawant, one of the petitioners in the 2013 National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) case, which led to the Supreme Court's recognition of transgender people as belonging to the third gender.
