Beware Of Fraudsters; Moc Warns

Postal officials, representing the Ministry of Communications, have warned against the spread of messages requesting shipping data.

According to the ministry, unknown messages include informing the customer that he has a shipment and that the Ministry wishes to deliver it to him, but the shipment will be returned to the warehouse because the address is not available, and the customer will be asked to register again via a link he receives.

Unsuspecting victims register on the link sent to them, which allows fraudsters to steal their data. Consequently, the ministry cautions anyone receiving such messages to beware and "not respond to this type of message," saying "the ministry does not send such messages and cannot be held liable."
