Pay Attention To... : Sachin Tendulkar REVEALS Advice He Gave Son Arjun After Debut IPL Campaign For MI

IPL 2023 was an exhilerating tournament which saw some of the biggest players playing some of the most exciting games. There were players who made their debut in IPL 2023 and had a big impact as well. Perhaps the most high-profile name to play his first-ever IPL was Arjun Tendulkar, son of the great Sachin Tendulkar. He played 4 games for Mumbai Indians, in which he took 3 wickets and scored 13 runs. He mostly bowled in the powerplay, and also went for the joint-most expensive over in IPL 2023, giving away 31 runs. In a recent event, Sachin Tendulkar revealed the advice he gave to his son post the IPL season.

While speaking to the media during the launch of the book, 'Scintillating Sachin', the Master Blaster said that he tries to create the same environment for Arjun that his father created for him. He also praised the media for not putting to much pressure on his son.

"I am trying to create the same environment which was created for me. When you appreciate yourself, people will appreciate you. Pay attention to your game as what my father used to say, and now I am telling Arjun," Sachin said.

"The media felicitated me when I retired from the game. At that time, I had requested the media to give the required space to Arjun and let him fall in love with Cricket. The journalists gave him the freedom, so I thank them for this", the legendary batter added.

Sachin Tendulkar also revealed that his wife Anjali stopped him from operating both his knees when he was undergoing a tough time in Australia.

"During the Australia tour, I was having so many injuries that I decided to undergo surgery of both the legs. But, Anjali came all the way to Australia and cancelled that surgery. I was so frustrated due to injuries but Anjali took care of me," Tendulkar added.
