Use solar power to cut carbon emission: Min
Lucknow: To encourage the use of solar power in industries and reduce carbon emission, an MoU was signed between Assocham UP and UP Solar Power Development Association on Tuesday.
“We have ample availability of solar power resources in the state,” minister of state for forest, environment and climate change (independent charge), AK Saxena said.
He asked the UP solar power development association to run a mass awareness campaign to encourage people to start using solar power.

“More households, farmers and industries should use solar power. Use of solar power will reduce carbon emission and conserve environment,” he said.
