Robert Hendrix of Otis, Kansas scored the last top prize in the $30 Hot 7s Super Ticket.

Sold at Casey’s General store in Great Bend, the winning ticket signified the game's end.

According to the Kansas lottery, Hendrix said he knew the game only had one top prize left in it which is why he decided to buy it.

“I check the Kansas Lottery website to see how many top prizes are left in games every so often," he said.

"I typically try to play games with more prizes left, but this one caught my eye,” Hendrix said.

With winnings left over from another ticket, he bought a Hot 7s ticket just to "try [his] luck."

And lucky he was when he kept uncovering 50X symbols on the game.

The player said he knew the ticket was a big winner but didn't know exactly how much.

Upon winning, his excitement even led him to give every worker at the store $100 to celebrate.

Following this, he reportedly went home, put the ticket in a safe place and began planning his trip to Topeka to claim his prize.

I just had a baby & needed ‘5 minutes alone’ so I went to 7-Eleven – I couldn’t believe I turned $5 into $200k instantly

“I may treat myself to something one day, but I’m not sure what yet,” Hendrix said.

For now, the lucky lotto winner plans to put his money toward towards things like bills and taxes, with the rest going into an investment account.

There are no top prizes left in the Hot 7s Super Ticket as the game has ended.

Players have until July 03, 2024 to claim any remaining prizes in the game.
