The 10th-bigget jackpot in U.S. lottery history is up for grabs Friday evening in the multi-state Mega Millions game, with players hoping to win a grand prize of $977 million.

Ticket sales for Friday’s drawing will end at 7:45 p.m., with tickets sold after that eligible for the next draw. Friday’s drawing will be held at 8 p.m.

For the 29th consecutive time, no tickets matching all six numbers were sold in Tuesday night’s drawing. A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold at a liquor store in Sacramento and is worth $1,748,612, the California Lottery announced.

Three other tickets were sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, one each sold in Florida, Texas and Virginia. They were each worth $1 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game.

The numbers drawn Tuesday were 24, 46, 49, 62, 66 and the Mega number was 7. The estimated jackpot was $893 million.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number are 1 in 302,575,350, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.

The Mega Millions game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.

Lottery players will have another chance to win big on Saturday, when a $750 million jackpot is up for grabs in the multi-state Powerball game. That drawing will be held at 7:59 p.m.
