Kochi: Actor Mohanlal expressed that while the people of Kerala may not fully appreciate Malayalam films and film organizations, audiences outside Kerala highly admire them. "This becomes evident when one works on movies outside Kerala," he noted.
He made these remarks at the FEFKA employees' meeting in Kochi. Interestingly, Mohanlal's comments followed director B Unnikrishnan's indirect criticism of the WCC.
"During movie shoots in Chennai, I encountered individuals grappling with various issues. Back then, there were no support organizations available. Nowadays, many are hesitant to join such groups. It's important to recognize that being part of organizations benefits our fellow friends and loved ones," he emphasized. The meeting was attended by numerous prominent actors and directors, with video messages from several celebrities also featured.
