Channel 5’s News Anchor recounts scary traffic accident experience; expresses gratitude to God

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: This morning, Channel 5’s News Anchor, Sabreena Daly recounted a scary traffic accident that she and her family experienced yesterday.

“Yesterday, I walked away unscathed from one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. In the blink of an eye, my vehicle took a nasty flip on the Burrell Boom road confronting me with the harrowing prospect of losing my life. Fortunately, I remained protected by my seatbelt, sparing me from serious harm. I was able to crawl out of my car to seek aid,” Daly said.

Daly expressed gratitude to God and those that helped her and her family to safety.

“As I reflect this morning, I feel compelled to express heartfelt appreciation. Firstly, to the compassionate strangers who came to my aid, offering to transport me to my loved ones.

Quick response of the authorities also ensured that proper procedures were followed,” Daly added.

Daly says that she expressed how grateful she is for her family and their immediate action following the accident.

“Huge thank you also, to the outpouring messages of well wishes and quick recovery. While I am still grappling with the events of yesterday, I am choosing to embrace gratitude.

I am alive. Thank you God,” Daly expressed.
