LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - Those looking to participate in the first ever 48 Hour Film Festival in La Crosse have only a few opportunities left.
The film festival focuses on having aspiring short film makers write, shoot, edit, and produce a short film of their own making to compete for a cash scholarship. The film festival takes place on April 12-14 with all of the films premiering on April 18. As of now, there are only 16 teams entered in the contest and the festival says there are limited spots left.
"The festival is open to aspiring and existing film makers so regardless of your experience with filmmaking and what your existing skillset might be, it doesn't matter", Leigh Eck the Secretary of the La Crosse Film Academy said. "We want everybody to feel like they're welcome to participate."
