OLIVE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was hospitalized after a rollover crash in Olive Township Thursday night, deputies said.

It happened around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of 120th Avenue and Stanton Street, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. A 19-year-old Grand Rapids man was headed east on Stanton in a Jeep Commander but did not stop at the stop sign at 120th Avenue, deputies said.

Drivers on 120th Avenue do not have a stop at that intersection and have the right of way, according to the sheriff’s office. A Toyota Sienna driven by a 33-year-old Allendale man was headed south on 120th Avenue and was hit by the Jeep. The Toyota rolled over in the crash.

The driver of the Toyota was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The driver of the Jeep had minor injuries, deputies say.

120th Avenue was closed for about an hour after the crash. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.
