(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — While there was no overall winner of the billion-dollar Powerball jackpot, Monday night’s drawing produced a $1 million ticket in North Carolina, lottery officials said.

The $2 ticket was sold in Pasquotank County at the Zoom In on South Hughes Blvd in Elizabeth County. The ticket matched the numbers on all five white balls to win $1 million. The odds of matching numbers on all five white balls are 1 in 11.6 million.

The North Carolina winner has 180 days from the drawing to claim the prize.

The next drawing is Wednesday night and features a $1.09 billion jackpot. It’s the fourth-largest prize in the game’s history.
