Election Alerts: MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE!

AFFILIATED VOTERS

If you are unsure of the party you are affiliated with, or what your current address information might be, please take the time now to check with our office or go to www.govotecolorado.gov to check your registration information.

You may change your affiliation to reflect how you want to vote before the deadline of June 3, 2024, and your address by obtaining appropriate forms from the Clerk and Recorder’s Office or at the above-listed website.

UNAFFILIATED VOTERS

An unaffiliated voter may cast a ballot for any one political party. If an unaffiliated voter returns a ballot for more than one major political party, the ballot will be rejected and none of the votes will be counted.

Here is how it works:

1. You will receive two ballots in your packet, one Democratic ballot and one Republican ballot.

2. Choose ONLY ONE of these ballots and fill it out. Discard the ballot you won’t use.

3. Sign your return envelope and return your ONE voted ballot in the return envelope. Sending in two voted ballots will disqualify all of your votes.

An unaffiliated voter who votes in a party’s primary will remain unaffiliated. However, which party ballot that you vote will be a public record (but not how you voted).

MINOR PARTY VOTERS

If you are affiliated with a minor party not participating in the election you will receive a ballot that only contains the CD4 Congressional Vacancy question.

Ballots for all eligible registered voters will be mailed the week of June 3 – June 7, 2024.

All voted ballots and replacement ballots must be in the possession of the Logan County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, by 7:00 p.m. June 25, 2024. Please use our 24/7 Drive up Drop Box located on the southeast side of the Courthouse Parking Lot.

BallotTrax is a free service for Logan County Voters that allows you to track the status of your ballot online, as well as receive messages by text, phone or email when your ballot has been sent to you and received by our Elections Division. Logan County voters may sign up at votelogancounty.ballottrax.net.
