THE PLAYER’S WORKSHOP
When: Friday, throughout the weekend, and next weekend, presenting “A Comedy of Tenors.”
Time: Evening performances at 7:30 p.m., matinee shows on Sundays at 2 p.m.
What: Prepare for an uproarious Ken Ludwig farce featuring one hotel suite, four tenors, two wives, three girlfriends, and a packed soccer stadium of frenzied fans! Expect mistaken identities, rib-tickling misunderstandings, and non-stop laughter.

LEGACY THEATER

Nashville recording artist and Las Vegas entertainer Adam D. Tucker brings the music and mystique of country music icon Tim McGraw to life on the stage at the Legacy Theater in Carthage, Illinois. Tickets are $40 online and at the Legacy box office.

ART CENTER OF BURLINGTON
What: Artist reception.
When: Friday night from 5-8 p.m. in the Gallery Lounge.
Featured Artist: Amanda Weygand Zeher, Ottawa, Illinois-based.
Description: Zeher’s work reflects her deep connection with nature, featuring a playful mixture of materials inspired by her Illinois homestead.
Mini Gallery: Lorrilee McCall Miller’s paintings explore emotions and mental health, resonating deeply with viewers.

BURLINGTON SHAKESPEARE CLUB
What: Special Guest Luncheon
When: Saturday at the First Congressional Church downtown.

Speaker: Dr. Miriam Gilbert, renowned Shakespeare expert.
Presentation: “Twelfth Night.”

Where: Artist Cecile Houel’s new downtown studio space in the Masonic Temple on Washington St.
What: Guided tour of the impressive building at 10 am, followed by a visit with Cecile in her massive studio space.
Treats: Coffee and desserts served until 12:30 p.m.
