TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) — The Arizona International Film Festival starts Wednesday, April 17, at Festival Grounds at Mercado Annex, 267 S. Avenida Del Convento.
The first film is “Cafe Daughter,” which shows at 7:30 p.m.
“Cafe Daughter,” a film about a 9-year-old girl who struggles to find her place in a 1960s Saskatchewan small town after her mother’s death, is the only film on opening night.
The festival runs through Sunday, April 28, and every day after Wednesday features multiple films.
