ANN ARBOR, Mich. – “Barbie,” “Napolean Dynamite,” and “Little Shop of Horrors” are among the free movies that will be shown in downtown Ann Arbor this summer.
The movies are part of the Ann Arbor Summer Festival’s outdoor Movies by Moonlight series offered between June 18-30 during the Top of Park events. Each will be shown on a big screen at the Rackham Stage.

Showings start at 9:30 p.m. except for “Barbie”, which begins at 10 p.m.
Film fans get a special treat this year with two silent films being shown at the Mendelssohn Theatre in partnership with Cinetopia Film Festival.
These ticketed movies cost $16 or $13 for members of the Marquee Arts members, formerly the Michigan Theater Foundation. Tickets go on sale May 17.
Each of the silent films will be accompanied by live music.
Ann Arbor Summer Festival will host more than 20 activities, performances, concerts, art exhibitions and film screenings, in downtown Ann Arbor from June 14-30. The festival’s complete season will be announced on May 2.
