A Beaver Dam man has died from injuries he received in a motorcycle crash last week, according to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
Thomas Davis, 37, was found in a field shortly after 1 a.m. on April 14 on Owl Road in the town of Calamus just west of Beaver Dam.
The sheriff's office said an individual who lives in the area found the motorcycle and Davis in the field and called 911. Once deputies arrived, life-saving measures, including CPR, were performed by a deputy in collaboration with paramedics from the Beaver Dam Fire Department.
Davis was initially transported to Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam then taken via helicopter to University Hospital in Madison where he recently died.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, Sheriff Dale Schmidt said.
