Rowdy Rathore
Rowdy Rathore, featuring Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar in lead roles, is one of Sonakshi's most successful movies. The actress played Parvati Gupta, the love interest of Shiva (Akshay), in the movie. Akshay had a double role in the film and was also seen as Vikram Singh Rathore. Lootera
Helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Lootera is considered Sonakshi Sinha's finest work. The actress shared screen space with Ranveer Singh in the film. It was a romantic period drama and the movie's second half was based on author O. Henry's 1907 short story The Last Leaf. Sinha was seen as Pakhi Roy Chaudhary in the film, which is now available for viewing on SonyLIV.
Lingaa
Sonakshi Sinha worked with superstar Rajinikanth in Lingaa, which was directed by KS Ravikumar. The story of Lingaa revolves around a thief who enters a village called Solaiyur to save the dam and temple built by his grandfather. Sonakshi played the character of Bharathi. Force 2
Directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Force 2 hit the silver screen in 2016. The film featured Sonakshi Sinha and John Abraham in the lead roles. The action drama saw Sonakshi in the role of Sub Inspector Kamaljeet Kaur, while John was seen as Assistant Commissioner of Police, Yashavardhan Singh. The movie can be watched on Netflix.
Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi
Sonakshi Sinha played a pivotal role in filmmaker Mudassar Aziz's film Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi. She was seen as Harpeet Kaur (Happy 2), while Diana Penty also played the character of the same name (Happy 1). Their film was released in 2018 and it can now be streamed on ZEE5.
