In India, Vu Televisions has launched the 2024 edition of Cinema TV. Specifically designed to enhance the user’s OTT experience, the Vu Cinema TV 2024 Edition comes in two screen sizes: 43 inches and 55 inches.

Vu Cinema TV 2024 Edition promises a theatre-like experience at home. It sports a bezel-less design for an immersive viewing experience. The screen uses an IPS panel with 4K resolution and 400 nits of brightness. It uses TruMotion technology with MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation). For gamers, there is a dedicated game mode with auto-low latency mode (ALLM).

The back of the TV houses the tube speakers, which fire sideways. The speakers feature Dolby Audio enhancement and produce 50W of output. 4 Edition runs with webOS and comes with 1000+ pre-installed apps, including local and global OTT platforms. This includes all the major video streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube.

Users can switch between the apps using the voice command feature. There are also dedicated buttons to access certain OTT platforms directly from the remote. There is a Movies hotkey that is said to bring movies from multiple platforms into one place.

The TV is compatible with Apple AirPlay, allowing users to stream media and content from iPhones, iPads, and other Apple devices. With two-way Bluetooth connectivity, you can play music and audio files from your phone on your Vu Cinema TV. Moreover, the TV has dual-band Wi-Fi for wireless connectivity.

Vu Cinema TV 2024 Edition pricing and availability

Vu Cinema TV 2024 Edition is priced at Rs 25,999 (~$315) for the 43-inch variant and Rs 34,999 (~$420) for the 55-inch model. The TV is already on sale in India through Flipkart and local retail stores. Vu also plans to launch the TV in the Middle East and Africa. After India, the TV will now be available in the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain.
