Udinese and AS Roma played a Serie A match tonight for just 22 minutes, with the capital club scoring a late winner through midfielder Bryan Cristante to steal all three points.

The match was abandoned in the 72nd minute on April 14 after Roma defender Evan Ndicka collapsed on the pitch and was rushed to the hospital with a heart condition.

Strange things that happened in football

Fan brushing teeth in the stands

A man, later identified as David, was seen brushing his teeth in the stand during Chelsea's 1-0 win over Manchester United in November 2009. Per Give Me Sport, he later explained that he had forgotten to brush at home and thought no one was watching.

Fan getting haircut at Wembley

United beat Brighton on penalties to reach the FA Cup final last season. During the match, a fan was spotted getting a haircut at Wembley Stadium. The Red Devils are in the final in a repeat of last season's Manchester derby.

PAOK president invades pitch with gun

Per DW Sports, PAOK president Ivan Savvidis invaded the pitch with a gun in 2018 after his team's late winner against AEK Athens was disallowed due to offside. He threatened to shoot at the referee and supporters. He was banned from stadiums for three years.

Eden Hazard kicks ball boy

Time wasting is a dark art in football, mostly employed by goalkeepers or attackers around the corner flag. A ball boy attempted to waste time for Swansea, which was leading Chelsea in a league cup match. A Belgian winger kicked him and was shown a red card. They reunited 11 years later and became friends.

Player receives three yellow cards

English referee Graham Poll messed up at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany during Croatia vs Australia. He showed three yellow cards to Josip Simunic before sending him off. The third was for an altercation after the match ended.

Mourinho ‘predicts’ football's future

Sports Brief reported on Jose Mourinho predicting football's future about goalkeepers being phased out of the game due to every team trying to play out from the back.

The Special One claimed teams could soon start experimenting with playing outfield players in goal to have an advantage of extra man passing the ball around in midfield.
