London-based renewables company Renewable Power Capital (RPC) on Thursday said it has secured US consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG) as the offtaker for a 140-MW wind farm project in Sweden.

The 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) is tied to the British company’s Sorlidberget park, which is one of the four projects in the High Coast wind cluster. Under the deal, RPC will supply more than 90% of the plant’s output, or around 400 GWh per year, to its US client.

Sorlidberget is already under construction and the last project in the 553-MW cluster in the Kramfors and Solleftea municipalities with a secured power offtake. Two of the projects have PPAs with LyondellBasell and one will be run under a 10-year PPA with glass packaging supplier Ardagh Group SA. According to RPC’s statement, almost 100% of the four projects’ generation has been contracted.

To be equipped with 80 Nordex turbines, the High Coast cluster is planned to go live between the closing quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. Turbine installation will be carried out in the spring of next year.
