Cash4Life lottery ticket worth $1,000 a week sold at N.J. QuickChek

For the second week in a row, a Cash4Life ticket worth $1,000 a week for life was sold to a lucky lottery player in New Jersey.

The second-prize ticket matched five numbers but not the Cash Ball for Thursday’s drawing. It was bought at a QuickChek on South Jefferson Road in Whippany, New Jersey Lottery officials said Friday.

Thursday’s Cash4Life winning numbers were 3, 7, 39, 49 and 58, and the Cash Ball was 1.

The winner can also choose the cash option of $1 million.

Last week, a Cash4Life ticket worth $1,000 a week was sold in New Jersey to someone using the Jackpocket app.

The odds of a $2 ticket matching five numbers and the Cash Ball to win $1,000 a day for life or $7 million are 21,846,048 to 1. The ticket holder on Thursday beat 7,282,016 to 1 odds to match five numbers.

Cash4Life tickets cost $2 each and are sold in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Tennessee, and Virginia. Drawings are held each day at 9 p.m.
