The Emergency Preparation Supplies Sales Tax Holiday is a good opportunity to stock up on what you need to be prepared for those situations.

The holiday starts Saturday and runs until the stroke of midnight Monday morning.

Sales tax will not be charged on a wide variety of emergency preparedness supplies.

That includes small items like batteries and fire extinguishers all the way up to portable generators.
