Ottawa County Sheriff seeks help in finding missing person

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in a Missing Persons case.

Deputies were notified on Saturday, April 27 that 21-year-old Terry Sims of Port Sheldon Township left his adult foster home on his own.

Sims left the home on foot at approximately 12 p.m., and hasn't been seen since. He was last known to have been walking in the area of Star Walk Lane.

He has left the home in the past, and is often times found near bodies of water, according to officials.

Sims is described as a Black male with short black hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5'5" tall and weighing 135 pounds.

He is believed to be wearing tan or brown plaid shorts and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, according to deputies.
