The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Ole Miss safety Daijahn Anthony with the 224th overall pick in the NFL draft. Anthony, 6-foot and 190 pounds, began his collegiate career at Shepherd before transferring to Liberty. He then finished his college tour with the Rebels where he led the team with eight pass breakups and three interceptions.

Daijahn Anthony scouting report

Anthony made a habit of showing up in the big moments for the Rebels. Two of his three interceptions came against top-level competition in Georgia and Penn State, and he was among the most impactful players on the field in the Rebels’ victory over LSU last season. He plays the safety position with a downhill aggression that makes him an asset against the run game. Equally, he’s no slouch in coverage. Anthony spent plenty of time at corner during his time with Liberty, giving him a versatile skill set that should make him an asset in both phases.
