JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Arkansas State football looks to have more representation in the NFL. Three Red Wolves signed undrafted free agent deals with NFL squads following the NFL Draft Saturday.

Offensive lineman Jalen Cunningham signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, wide receiver Jeff Foreman signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, and cornerback Leon Jones, Jr. signed with the Chicago Bears.

Foreman played in 49 games across five seasons in his collegiate career. The Oklahoma native recorded 2,059 yards and 13 TDs at A-State. This season, the 6-foot outside wideout was top 10 in Sun Belt in contested catches, average depth of target, and yards per route run, finishing with 29 grabs for 573 yards and four touchdowns. He’s the first Red Wolf wideout since Jonathan Adams in 2021 to sign a contract as an UDFA.

Jones played three seasons in Jonesboro, recording 6 pass breakups, 8 forced incompletions, and a career-high 26 tackles in 2023. He becomes the first Red Wolf defensive back to sign as an undrafted free agent since Chris Humes in 2016.

Cunningham started all 13 games at right guard this season after transferring in from Ole Miss. He became the first offensive lineman to ink an NFL deal since Lanard Bonner in 2019.

The signings make it 8 of the last 9 seasons that the Red Wolves have had a player sign a UDFA deal.
