Shores & Islands Ohio, in collaboration with Ottawa County Improvement Corporation and Greater Sandusky Partnership, will present the first installment of 2024 of the Compass Learning Series, according to a news release.

This upcoming event titled “Is AI Right for Your Business?” will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon, May 8, at Lake Erie Arms, 9572 Milan Road in Milan Township, the release said.

The seminar, led by John Edwards, executive vice president and partner at Communica, will present the evolution and impact of generative AI on contemporary business landscapes, according to the release.

Drawing from his experience in sales enablement and technology integration, Edwards will explain the practical applications of AI for enhancing customer interactions, optimizing operations, driving product innovation and revolutionizing marketing and sales strategies, the release said.

Communica is an advertising agency based out of Toledo with firms in Charlotte, Columbus and Detroit.
