PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A two-year-old boy has died after being pulled from a pool in Phoenix on Sunday afternoon.

Phoenix police officers and firefighters were called to the home near 43rd and Glendale Avenues, where the boy, later identified as Jesus Ramirez-Mora, had been found in a pool unconscious and not breathing.

Phoenix Fire says CPR was given to Ramirez-Mora before crews arrived. The boy was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

It is not known how long he was in the water or if there is a fence around the pool.

The boy’s family is receiving help from a Community Assistance Program during this time.

Phoenix police said no arrests have been made and there are no obvious signs of foul play.

The investigation is ongoing.
