CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Ottawa is funding seven repair and maintenance project in seven P.E.I. small craft harbours as part of the 2022 budget.

The largest project includes reconstructing parts of Naufrage Harbour to accommodate dredging related to Hurricane Fiona.

Other projects include annual redredging at Malpeque Cove, Covehead, West Point, and North Lake, basin dredging at Howards Cove, and channel dredging with an engineering study in Tignish.
