Young woman’s body found inside North Bondi unit in Sydney’s eastern suburbs

A young woman has been found dead inside her home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

About 9.20am on Tuesday, emergency services were called to a fourth-floor unit on Hardy St at North Bondi, following reports a woman was found unresponsive.

The woman, aged 19, was declared dead at the scene. She is yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation has commenced.

“A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the woman’s cause of death,” NSW Police said.

A 32-year-old man, who had an outstanding warrant, was arrested at the home.

He was taken to Waverley Police Station, where he is assisting with inquiries.

The investigation is ongoing.
