Emmerdale has confirmed which two families will be left in turmoil as a result of a second car crash in a matter of months. As fans of the ITV soap know, a tragic accident on New Year's Eve saw Heath Hope lose his life.
The teenager died in after being involved in a car accident alongside his twin sister Cathy and their friend Angelica King. The trio ditched the village on New Year's Eve, stealing Wendy Posner's car after the families wouldn't agree to take them into Hotten for a party.
After starting to make their own way there, it wasn't until later that April Windsor confessed what had happened to Cathy and Heath's dad Bob and his partner Wendy, and they quickly headed off in pursuit of the kids. It wasn't long before they were horrified to find the car crashed off of the side of a country road.

There were then heartbreaking scenes when Wendy tried to revive Heath with CPR until the ambulance arrived, while Cathy and Angelica watched on after already escaping the car wreckage
Earlier this month (April), Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw teased to the Manchester Evening News and other press: "We’re going to see an accident happen that will affect two big family groups - it will connect those two families together and we’ll see somebody in some very serious medical jeopardy, whether they live or die we’ll have to see but what I can tell you is that the ripples and repercussions from that accident will be very long-lasting and life-changing for a number of our villagers.
Now, spoilers for next week's Emmerdale has revealed that it will be Nicky Milligan and Ethan Anderson involved. When Nicky asks his dad Caleb for Nate Robinson's shares to become an equal partner but Caleb only laughs at him, leaving Nicky frustrated.
Meanwhile, Suni is elsewhere in a bar and calls to say one of the men who was part of the homophobic attack on them last year is at the same bar as him. Nicky wants to drive there, but Ethan sees he’s drunk too much, and says he’ll drive instead.
As they drive to get to Suni Sharma, Ethan sees a police car up ahead. He turns around, afraid of being over the limit and as Nicky struggles to get hold of Suni on his phone, Ethan loses control of the car. Soon after, there's no sign of life from Ethan or Nicky in the crashed car.
When Ethan comes around, he carefully pulls Nicky from the car he hides and then sees a car approaching, he then watches as Moira Dingle discovers unconscious Nicky, before he runs away from the scene.
